The house can be divided into two apartments, the Refugio and the Atalaya. The Atalaya has two floors. On the top floor there is the entrance and the living room with the loveliest view you can imagine. You have also a kitchen and a bathroom. On the lower floor you have three rooms, one with double bed, and two with trundle beds. There is also on that floor a bathroom where you can have a shower by the natural volcanic lava wall. The other apartment, the Refugio, has one double room with bathroom, a little livingroom with Kichenette and it is also nestled by the lava wall.
The Atalaya can host up to 6 people, and the Refugio up to two. So in case you are a bigger group, you can get the whole house, Zahara del Pescador and enjoy the best experience.

Located in the fishing village of Varadero, on a now protected lava tongue to maintain its charm, this wonderful refuge is found. Unknown to many Tinerfeños, Varadero is a coastal town that seems anchored in the 1960s. From early morning until nightfall, locals and visitors fish in the rocks the fish they will later eat for dinner. It is a village without haste, oblivious to the frenzy of the world, reached by a winding road surrounded by Tabaibas.
Located 15 minutes by car from Tenerife North Airport and 35 minutes from Tenerife South Airport, on the East coast. The east coast of Tenerife is the coast with the most hours of sunshine per year. It is a 10-minute drive from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with the advantage of having all the benefits of the city nearby, but without the drawbacks. And just 15 minutes from the historic center of La Laguna, with its restaurants and historic buildings.
We found the fishing village of Varadero on that same trip, almost by chance. It was then very unknown, and as we descended for the first time on that narrow road between Tabaibas and Plumeros, we knew it was our place. We immediately fell in love with the relaxed atmosphere, the warmth of the neighbors, and their slow-paced life.
We love design and interior design, and we thought that house was the perfect base to reflect the art and history of the island. The ode to the sea, to the volcanic rock, to the artisanal work of materials and the choice of noble materials typical of the island aim to convey that wild beauty that captivated us from the first moment.
Two weeks after returning from that trip, we found the little house, and since then it has been our dream and our favorite place to this day.
The streets, the little wite houses, and all the virgins in every door
Reading and listening to the waves on the rocks
A glass of local wine on the moon rise by the sea
Fishing in the pools or in the sea
